NO Visa appointments through telephone calls, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Whatsapp or any other social media.

IT IS RECOMMENDED TO BOOK YOUR SCHENGEN VISA APPOINTMENT WELL IN ADVANCE, WAITING TIMES FOR APPOINTMENTS ARE SIGNIFICANTLY LONGER DURING THE HIGH SEASONS.

The Visa Office CANNOT provide assistance on supporting documents and/or on how to complete application forms.

ZAMBIA

Starting from 1 October 2024, those interested in applying for a Schengen visa (stay of up to 90 days) must book an appointment via the Prenot@mi portal at the following link: Home Page – Prenot@Mi (esteri.it)

MALAWI

To apply for a national visa (stay longer than 90 days), Malawian citizens and foreigners residents in Malawi can contact the visa office of the Embassy of Italy in Lusaka: lusaka.visa@esteri.it.

For all types of Schengen visas (lasting up to 90 days), since March 24 2025 Malawian citizens and foreigners residents in Malawi can contact the VFS Office of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Pretoria or Cape Town after registering their application in the application portal and booking and appointment.
