Visit to Lusaka of MAECI Central Director for Africa, Min. Plen. Giuseppe Mistretta

For the second year in a row, the Central Director for Africa made a visit to Lusaka for political and economic consultations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and for courtesy visits to Ministers of the Zambian government, including that of Finance and that of Agriculture and with the new Secretary General of Comesa. The very cordial and fruitful conversations allowed to clarify mutual positions in many areas important for the development of bilateral relations in the political field (taking into account the role played by Zambia as Chairman in office of the body for politics and stability, as well as economic (especially in the agricultural sector). The Central Director did not fail to meet various NGOs and Italian congregations and carry out on-site visits where projects are carried out.
