Life Verification for Pensioners Residing Abroad
Following the launch of the second phase—from September 2026 to January 2027—of the life verification campaign for pensioners residing abroad, Citibank N.A. will handle the mailing of life verification requests to beneficiaries. These proof-of-life certificates must be received by Citibank by January 18, 2027.
If the proof-of-life certificate is not submitted by January 18, 2027, the February 2027 pension payment will be made, where possible, in cash at Western Union locations in the pensioners’ country of residence. If the pension is not collected in person or if the proof of life is not submitted by February 19, 2027, pension payments will be suspended starting with the March 2027 installment.
