Please be advised that from February 12 to February 18, 2026, the VIS (Visa Information System) will undergo a temporary operational shutdown.
This is a scheduled and urgent technical maintenance intervention which will translate in the temporary suspension of receipt and processing of visa applications, and issuance of entry visas. This suspension applies to the operations of the Visa Office at the Embassy of Italy in Lusaka.
To minimize inconvenience to the public, appointments will need to be rescheduled for the days immediately following the shutdown period.
