!Move On Zambia is the combination of AMBIENTE and MUSICA, two coordinated events which take place at the Zambian-Italian Cultural Centre of Lusaka.
AMBIENTE
AMBIENTE is an environmental Indaba, or conference, where the principal players in the fight against environmental degradation and climate change based in Zambia come together and discuss a common way forward – how to Move On from deforestation, air and water pollution, poor waste management, loss of wildlife etc.
Besides environmental organizations, we involve national and international development partners, the Government of Zambia, with its relevant institutions and agencies, as well as the private sector, in a discussion on how to come together to solve the most urgent problems that afflict the environment in Zambia.
MUSICA
The MUSICA Festival takes place in synchrony with the AMBIENTE conference. Its aim is to symbolize partnership and cooperation through music whilst providing an exclusive opportunity for our partners to entertain and mingle, make new contacts, explore new ideas. Some of the most extraordinary Italian, Zambian and Zimbabwean musicians collaborate on stage and mesmerize the audience with their performances on a dedicated, state of the art stage in the grounds of the Italian School of Lusaka, next to the ZICC.
