Climate change and renewable energy in Zambia

We are pleased to inform you that this Embassy has organized a Webinar in collaboration with RES4Africa ( ) dedicated to the theme: "Climate change and renewable energy in Zambia" which will take place on 7th October 2020 from 10.00 to 12.00 hrs.

The purpose of the webinar is to investigate the challenges of climate change and the opportunities related to the renewable energy sector in Zambia. The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hon. Emanuela del Re, the Zambian Ministers of Energy Hon Nkhuwa and National Development and Planning Hon. Chiteme , representatives of the EU Delegation and the World Bank will intervene during the Webinar.

The Webinar can be followed online through the platform  or in presence at the Italo-Zambiano Cultural Center (in Lubu rd, Lusaka) for a maximum capacity of 50 people in line with the Covid-19 prevention regulations. To this end, it is necessary to book a seats with an email:  .
