In November, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation celebrates Italian cuisine in the world.
For the occasion, and in collaboration with the Dante Alighieri Society, the Embassy in Lusaka organized a program of events, dedicated to the Mediterranean diet, which will be held from 4 to 9 November in Zambia. Two Italian Chefs, Alessandro Del Bono and Andrei Cristea, will come from Sicily specifically to realize these events.
The program includes a training day for Zambian cooks in Lusaka which will culminate with a dinner for the Italian community in residence on 5 November and a Gala Dinner at the Rosso restaurant in Lusaka on 6 November.
The two Italian Chefs will then travel to the city of Livingstone to carry out a training course for Zambian students at the catering school "Youth Training Community Center" created on the initiative of the Italian NGO CELIM.
They will also prepare a special dinner at the Olga's restaurant on November 8th and one at the Avani restaurant on November 9th.
