"Vivere all'Italiana" in the first edition of the LUSAKA ART FESTIVAL, has resulted in an Italian cultural contribution aimed both to represent our culture and our art, both to offer a product to trigger local skills and involve them with Italian and international networks.
The identified scenario is that of Fashion and Design: an Italian fashion expert with the necessary motivations, Professor Dalia Gallico, who, with her overall vision of trends, great experience and numerous profitable contacts in Italy and abroad, has worked together with the local cooperative KAMANGA WEAR providing visions and solutions in the themes of Italian fashion and international marketing as well as in possible partnerships with Italian companies.
During the event Professor Gallico animated the Italian stand; the Kamanga Girls have recreated a fashion studio, make-up artists and photographers and cameramen, involving visitors, promoting a sensitization of the validity of local brands and the desire to create a business to be disseminated. Two "Fashion Talk" conferences involved models, designers, seamstresses and advertising agencies in collaboration with Modzi Art.
The final aim of this new collaboration with the University "San Raffaele" of Rome is to start up professional training sections structured at local universities.
