PLIDA Certification Center - Italian School of Lusaka
The Italian School of Lusaka is pleased to announce that it has received recognition as a PLIDA Certification Center (Dante Alighieri Italian Language Project) from Dante Alighieri in Rome.
The Plida certification certifies the knowledge of the language on the basis of the six levels established by the common European framework of reference for the knowledge of foreign languages.
This certification is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has international value.
The Center has programs for both adults and juniors (13-18 years), and anyone can apply for exams from any part of Zambia without any attendance requirement.

In order to promote the Italian language in the world, the Embassy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Zambia (UNZA) on 13 February 2018 to activate Italian courses at the university.
