The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers grants in favor of foreign citizens in Italy and Italian citizens living abroad (IRE) for the academic year 2022-2023 in order to foster international cooperation in cultural, scientific and technological fields, to promote Italian language and culture and to support Italy’s economic system in the world.
The scholarships – each consisting of 3, 6 or 9 months and renewable for the following academic year in the case of student enrollment in multi-year courses – can be used starting from 1 November 2022 and by 31 October 2023.
They can be awarded exclusively for master’s degrees, courses of higher artistic, musical (AFAM), research doctorates, study projects in co-supervision, and advanced courses in Italian language and culture. Therefore, courses not mentioned above are excluded, including, inter alia, the annual or two-year Masters of first and second level, three-year degrees (except at AFAM institutions), single-cycle degree courses, specialization courses lasting one year.
Zambia is one of those eligible foreign countries and interested and committed students may apply through the website “Study in Italy” BEFORE 9TH JUNE 2022
