From 1st October 2020, SPID (Sistema Pubblico di Identità Digitale - Public Digital Identity System ) allows access to on line services provided by the Public Administration and participating private organization, through the creation of a Digital Identity.
Simple and safe, you can use SPID from any device: computers, tablets and smartphones, whenever you find the "Enter with SPID" sign , on a site or app for services.
Currently, the use of SPID for Italian Nationals living abroad has been postponed to 31st December 2021 (Italians living in Italy must use SPID from 28 February 2021)
Choose how to activate it, free or for a fee, on the site of the Identity Providers. Once obtained, the use of SPID is free.
