Do not Operate Resistance But Listen: NORMA Jazz Ensemble in Corcert within the

Norma Ensemble Jazz Concert will be held in Lusaka within the "Italy, Culture, Africa" program that the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is promoting in Sub-Saharan Africa throughout 2019.

Free entrance at Taj Pamodzi Hotel, Baobab Hall, on Tuesday 10th December 2019, 18:00 hrs.

NORMA Ensemble is a project composed by Marcello Allulli on sax, Enrico Zanisi on piano, Jacopo Ferrazza on double bass Valerio Vantaggio on drums.

The compositions are all original, in the name of a contemporary jazz of European origin. The quartet's music expresses the desire to merge the different cultural identities and personalities of the four artists into a single harmonious, ideological and stylistic discourse.

NORMA (acronyms in Italian) means "Do not Operate Resistance But Listen", enclosing in itself the sense of being welcoming towards others and towards other cultural and musical forms, of being empathetic, inclusive and of rejecting walls or prejudices. Local musicians will mingle their music with Norma Ensemble.
