150 years of Italian Unity - a Film Festival 
 

The Embassy of Italy is proud to present a selection of seven Italian films to celebrate the 150 years of Italy’s unity. The 150 years film festival offers a perspective over different moments in the life of the Italian people, from the beginning, the so called ‘Risorgimento’ (resurgence) of the Italian nation to modern day.

This film festival includes the following films (all with English subtitles)

- 5 May            “Ma che storia” - by Gianfranco Pannone

- 12 May          “Ex” – by Fausto Brizzi

- 19 May          “Garibaldi” (Viva l’Italia!) – by Roberto Rossellini

- 26 May          “The fever” (La febbre) – by Alessandro D’Alatri

- 2 June           “Letters from Sahara” (Lettere dal Sahara) – by Vittorio de Sata

- 9 June           “Arrivano i bersaglieri”  - by Luigi Magni

- 16 June         “Generazione Mille Euro” – by Massimo Venier
